Description
Gamboa is the closest vineyard and winery to Buenos Aires city (45min). The 6 hectare vineyard is located in Campana on the border with Cardales. They have planted Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Pinot Gris and Semillon as well as 5 other varieties on clay loam soil. The vineyard is easily accessible, a short drive from the Panamericana Route 9. A secluded oasis to lose yourself amongst it’s forests, rolling fields, vines, poplars and lake. Lunch Experience, was designed by Edward Holloway, uses seasonal ingredients playfully creating an experience designed to while away the hours while soaking in the views of our picturesque vineyard. A menu which allows the conversation to flow as much as the wine does. They combine simple flavours, fresh seasonal produce and traditional Argentine cooking methods in their wood fired oven and over hardwood coals on the “Parrilla”. Using an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as pickles prepared in house, the menu is a homage to the finest local ingredients. The experience would not be complete without our unique wines. They pair the lunch with wine from the unique terroir in Campana as well as limited edition wines made around Argentina by renowned Argentine winemakers, including Santiago Achaval, Karim Mussi and Agustín Lanus.
